UCLA won their first game, OU lost their first game

I’m confused as to how the brackets crossed over. I thought OU, JMU, OSU, UGA were in a 4 team double elimination bracket and Bama, FSU, AZ and UCLA were in a 4 team bracket but guess not?? I don’t get it
